I was saddened to learn of Kendall's death. I first got to know him we were freshmen at The Citadel and we reconnected at the USC law school where we worked together on the Law Review. Kendal had a brilliant mind, was an outstanding trial lawyer, and a champion for justice for the ordinary citizen. In addition, he was an writer, poet, historian, and horticulturist. His contributions to the legal profession and society are immeasurable. He will be missed by all who knew him and worked with him. The Bar has lost an outstanding member.
