CLEMSON — Clemson baseball is hosting its second straight NCAA regional hoping to reach the College World Series for the first time since 2010.

The Tigers (41-14) earned the No. 6 overall seed after winning eight of 10 conference series to claim the ACC's Atlantic Division. They will play No. 4 seed High Point (34-25) on Friday (7 p.m., ACC Network). The No. 2 seed Commodores (38-21) face the No. 3 seed Chanticleers (34-23) on Friday (noon, ESPN2).

Clemson is 3-5 all-time against the Commodores, 49-12 versus the Chanticleers and 10-0 against the Panthers.

Here's how far we project Clemson to go in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

Clemson has a flair for the dramatic this season, earning 24 comeback victories and winning nine of 13 one-run games this season. The Tigers are 27-6 at home and need balanced play from their hitters and pitching to reach the College World Series.

The journey will have some highs and lows, but the Tigers, a team that flamed out in regional play last year, will break through to make the College World Series before falling in bracket play.
