South Carolina baseball live score updates vs Kentucky in SEC Tournament elimination game
South Carolina baseball's winning streak in the SEC tournament ended Thursday night.
No. 11 seed LSU defeated the No. 10 seed Gamecocks with a comeback victory to take the game 11-10.
Now, the Gamecocks (35-22) face No. 3 seed Kentucky on Friday afternoon (4 p.m., SEC Network) at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. This is the fourth time this season the Wildcats (40-13) have played the Gamecocks. In April, South Carolina took the series 2-1 at home.
Kentucky beat No. 2 seed Arkansas 9-6 on Thursday night in a third-round elimination game.
South Carolina reached the winner's bracket for the first time in 20 years after defeating Alabama on Tuesday and Arkansas on Wednesday. If the Gamecocks beat Kentucky, they play LSU again on Saturday (12 p.m., SEC Network) but if they lose, South Carolina is done with SEC tournament play.
