Clemson baseball live score updates vs Miami: Pool plays starts for Tigers in ACC tournament
Clemson baseball opens the ACC tournament on Thursday against No. 11 seed Miami at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The second-seeded Tigers (40-13) join the Hurricanes (25-29) and No. 7 seed Louisville (32-23) in Pool B. The team with the best record in Pool B will advance to the semifinals and face the winner of Pool C (No. 3 seed NC State, No. 6 seed Duke, No. 10 Virginia Tech) on Saturday. If teams are tied at the completion of pool play, the team with the highest seed in the respective pool will advance.
Clemson won two of three against Miami this season and is projected to host an NCAA tournament regional for the second straight year. Despite winning three of 10 ACC series, Miami defeated Louisville 8-5 on Tuesday after hitting three home runs.

If the Hurricanes beat Clemson, they will advance to the semifinals.
