Clemson baseball is back for its second and final game in Pool B in the ACC tournament on Friday against No. 7 seed Louisville at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The second-seeded Tigers (40-14) lost their first game in Pool B against No. 11 Miami, knocking them out of a chance to reach the ACC tournament semifinals. Because the Hurricanes won both their first games, they will advance to the semifinals to face the winner of Pool C (which has No. 3 seed NC State, No. 6 seed Duke, No. 10 Virginia Tech) on Saturday.

Clemson took the season series against Louisville, winning two of three in Kentucky in late April, including a 17-7 win on April 28.

Even with their loss to Miami, however, the Tigers are projected to host an NCAA tournament regional for the second straight year.
