Clemson baseball vs High Point prediction, odds for NCAA tournament regionals
Derrian CarterCLEMSON — Clemson baseball begins its NCAA tournament journey Friday against No. 4 seed High Point at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
The Tigers (41-14) earned the No. 6 overall seed to host a regional for the second consecutive season. No. 2 seed Vanderbilt (38-21), No. 3 seed Coastal Carolina (34-23) and the Panthers (34-25) will be the other teams in the Clemson Regional.
This is Clemson's 46th NCAA tournament appearance, the fifth most in the nation, and it eyes to make the super regional for the first time since 2010. High Point captured its first NCAA tournament bid after winning the Big South Conference tournament championship.

The winner of this matchup (7 p.m. ET, ACC Network) will face the winner of Vanderbilt and Coastal Carolina (noon, ESPN2) on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Clemson 9, High Point 3: The Panthers won four straight en route to winning their conference tournament, but facing the Tigers is too tall of a task. Expect Clemson to come out focused, and its offense will fuel a win in Game 2 of the Clemson Regional.
