Talk Greenville's 10 Most Stylish: Fawn Clark
Occupation: Performing Artist and Dance Instructor
Dream Occupation: I would love to be a full-time performing artist. Whether that’s in dance, theatre, or music, I would love to be performing and creating every single day.
What I like to wear: When I choose what to wear it’s usually based on what will express what I am feeling internally or attracted to in that moment in music, pop culture or film.
What I will never wear: Personally, I never say “never” because my style has evolved and gone through so many phases over the years that I think limiting myself to one style doesn’t feel authentic to me.
I describe my style as: I feel as though I am a mosaic of all of my favorite parts of many decades. I am very inspired by all the fashion of the ‘70s through the early 2000s! I am not scared to wear whatever I want, and I am attracted to things that make me feel like I won’t blend in or match everyone.
My signature item is: My outfits change daily but my classic black leather fanny pack is always attached to my body.
Next thing I will buy is: I call it a “Penny Lane” jacket! I have wanted one since I saw the film “Almost Famous” in high school. It’s an Afghan long suede jacket with its signature fluffy lapel and cuffs. They are a classic staple in ‘70s fashion and I think they’re so beautiful.
